Hot from the Hoven: Monster Cookies

One of Grandma’s signature recipes is her monster cookies. They are insanely addictive. They are full of butter and sugar and one batch feeds an army. All the makings of a Morris classic.

Stefanie and I were lucky enough to have an amazing sous chef the last time we made monster cookies. Everyone, meet Clyde. Culinary training courtesy of Le Courdeon Bleu en Paris.





Monster Cookies

6 eggs
2 C white sugar
2 1/2 C brown sugar
2 1/2 C peanut butter
1 t vanilla
1 T white corn syrup
1 C butter
4 t soda
9 C oatmeal (ridiculous, right?)
1 C chocolate chips
1 C M&M candies

Mix in order of ingredients.

Bake 11 minutes at 350 degrees. Do not overbake.
